Early bilingual adaptations may last to adulthood

Check out our latest paper on the effects of bilingualism on attention. The story was picked up by over 30 international and national news outlets, including BBC Radio 4 Inside Science and BBC World Service's Science in Action. Bilingual adults who acquired their second language as a young child were quicker at redirecting their visual attention and detecting visual changes than bilingual adults who acquired their second language later in life.
